Sophia Phirippides
Producer / Director
Vodacom Awards 2015 commended “Sophia Phirippides of Modern Times for her body of work, especially her reporting on Finding Leigh”.
Sophia Phirippides worked for 10 years in the feature film industry, transitioning to TV in 1996. Most recently Sophia directed and produced Finding Leigh, a Fox Crime documentary and two other full length documentaries Burden of Truth and All About Reeva.
Other work includes Carte Blanche stories, eTV stories, SABC shorts, directing and executive producing series.
Sophia Phirippides past awards include amongst others, 2 CNN African Journalist of the Year category awards, a silver Avanti, Vodacom Journalist of the Year category award, Telkom ICT Journalist of the Year television award and 2 Citadel Words on Money Awards.
Alexia Phirippides

Alexia has edited music videos, Carte Blanche inserts and corporate promos. She is also a budding brand management and creative concepts professional.
